Arriving by Plane to Heathrow?
There are
two alternatives:
-
BUS
- It
is quite simple now because most bus runs drop you off in front of
the Union House in the UEA, except some very late or very early
runs. The company is National Express/Jetlink. Below you will find
a diagram of where you can buy tickets from terminal 4 in Heathrow
Airport. The buses leave in Stop #13, or so they say. The trip
lasts around 4:10 if it is direct (there are some runs that have a
stopover in Stansted), although it can last up to 5hr in rush
hour.

-
TRAIN
- This is a bit more complicated. We strongly recommend you
take the Heathrow Express. Below is a diagram of where you can buy
your tickets, follow the signs to board your train. This train
takes you to "Paddington" station in about 15 minutes. In
"Paddington" follow the signs for one of the following subway
lines: "Circle Line" yellow or "City Line"
pink. It is best if you take the "Circle Line" as it has less
people and less stairs. Get off in "Liverpool Street" station, the
journey should take around 20 minutes. In front of the main exit
you will see the train platforms, look for #10 where the offices
of One Anglia/Anglia Railways are and buy your ticket to Norwich.
The journey should last around 1:45.
