ARRIVAL TO UEA

If you are arriving by train click here if you are arriving by plane to Norwich click here

Once you are in Norwich the most difficult part of your journey has ended. The next thing is to get to the school in order to obtain your key from the people in the "Accommodation Office".

If you are arriving by bus from the airports in London you will be glad to know that they end at the entrance to the University. If for any chance you got off in the bus station in the city you can take a taxi for approximately £6.00, or you can wait in one of the nearby areas for the next 25 bus to arrive. This can be a bit tricky since there are times when that bus stop has a bit of people.

UEA is a school founded in 1963 and currently has around 9,000 undergraduate students and about 5,000 postgraduate students. About 8% of the students is international and 31% are "mature" students. There are 18 schools, including research institutes. They are currently grouped into 4 super-faculties.
The school is found within a 109 hectare land located at approximately 4km from the historical center of Norwich. There is also a "broad" (British term for lake) and a river within the grounds
