The Open Market is located just in
the city centre in front of the City Hall and the Forum Library.
As in the markets in Mexico, it has rows of stalls at each side
of passages in a . In the market you can find stalls with fruits
and vegetables, clothes, shoe repair, food in general, pet accessories,
souvenirs, etc. In contrast with supermarkets you have to pay attention
the prices you will pay for the product you are buying.
As a personal note. Inside the market there is
a stall that sells roast pork in buns. It is the most similar to "carnitas"
you can find this side of the Atlantic, and after being here for
a while you will think they're great.
